The Nigeria Higher Education
Foundation (NHEF) is now accepting applications for the 2018 NHEF
Scholars Program.
All students enrolled in their
penultimate year at any NHEF Partner University are qualified to participate in
the Scholars Program.
he Program
The Program provides Nigerian
undergraduates with a range of opportunities designed to aid in career
development. NHEF ultimate goal is to substantially increase the number of
well-educated Nigerians assuming positions of leadership in society. Nigeria
Higher Education Foundation expects their Scholars to be fully devoted to
community service, philanthropy as well as making a lasting impact on society.
Our Scholars are talented students
from our Partner Universities. They have demonstrated academic excellence and
are well-rounded in both professional and extracurricular pursuits.
We expect
our Scholars to be fully devoted to community service, philathropy as well as
making a lasting impact in society. Through the program, they will become
successful future employees with an understanding of the roles and
responsibilities attached to their industry of choice.
The NHEF provides talented
undergraduates the opportunity to gain exposure to the corporate sector through
leading companies in key industry areas in Nigeria. Our key industries include:
Financial Services, Corporate Law, Engineering, Technology. Our Partner firms include:
KPMG, Synergy Capital Managers, Kuramo Capital Management, African Capital
Alliance (ACA), Verod Capital Management, Sankore Investments, Ikeyi &
Arifayan Barrister and Solicitors, CardinalStone, Templars, Banwo &
Ighodalo.
We aim to broaden the scope of our
industry tracks over time. We believe our partnership with these firm will
offer invaluable exposure to our Scholars.
The NHEF Scholars program is open
to students in their Penultimate year at our Partner Universities. Eligibility
varies depending on your course of study. However, if you are not certain, we
would recommend that you submit an application anyway and we will advise on
possible options.
